Consalt wasn’t born in a boardroom we were built during late nights, hard lessons, and a belief that recruiting can be done better.


By 2020, it was impossible to ignore how broken the traditional model had become. Too many agencies were spamming CVs instead of solving real hiring problems. Too many “great on paper” hires flopped in practice.


So we started Consalt with one clear mission:

Sally Wehncke

Hi there, I’m Sally!


In 2014 I discovered my obsession for matching talent with opportunities. In 2015 I went all-in on tech recruiting at OfferZen, placing 300+ candidates in under 2 years as an early team member.


After this I proved I could:

• Scale teams at Luno (Engineering, Product, Data)

• Build from zero as Aerobotics' solo recruiter

In 2020 I had enough of broken hiring practices so I launched Consalt to fix what's wrong with recruitment because I've lived every side of it.

Because of this, I have a good understanding of how to speak ‘dev’, knowing what the NB questions are to pose during screening calls and what to look out for.
